I was doing this at the same time as the other acrylic I just posted, and again, picked this up after it lying unfinished for ages.
It was going pretty well until as you can probably see, the foliage on the trees. Not sure what exactly went wrong, seeing as this was based on a paining I have at home.
the picture wasn't great either
ah well
I will start to draw and paint my own stuff again soon, but I just think that it's best to start by trying to recreate rather than to create.

I like this one even more than the first! The tree that's the farthest to the left in the background is very well done, I think. The shading all over looks amazing, though. It shows on the ground and in the water, too. The way you drew the branches as sort of transparent (not the right word *shurgs* oh well) over the limbs of the tree looks great!
I agree with Talasir that there could be a reflection in the water, and I also think that the birds in this one look a little out of place. They're not detailed, which would suggest that they'd be in the background, but they look like they're in front of the first tree, so that doesn't match up.
